Hungarian Prime Minister Orban criticizes EU sanctions against Russia

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he feared there would not be enough energy in Europe due to the Russia-Ukraine War and the sanctions imposed on Russia.
In his statement, Prime Minister Orban stated that the European Union (EU) continues its policy of sanctions against Russia, but has not been successful so far.

Noting that the problems may increase if the EU does not change its sanctions policy, Orban said, “At the moment, 11,000 sanctions against Russia are in effect, but the war continues and attempts to weaken the Russians have not been successful. On the other hand, the brutal inflation and energy shortage caused by the sanctions have brought Europe to its knees. can crash.” he said.

Orban added that there will be no shortage of energy in Hungary, and that there will be enough both natural gas and electricity in the country.
